We’re looking for a skilled and dedicated AWS Engineer to join our innovative tech team. This role is pivotal in deploying, managing, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure to support our rapidly expanding suite of applications and services. The ideal candidate will be deeply immersed in the AWS ecosystem, with a keen ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions that meet our business needs.
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design and deploy robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions using AWS, with knowledge of Azure and GCP as a bonus. Manage AWS services including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC, ensuring they are optimized for performance and cost.
Security and Compliance: Implement and manage comprehensive security measures across our AWS environment, focusing on IAM, encryption, and regulatory compliance. Ensure our cloud systems align with security standards and best practices, facilitating a secure integration with on-premise and other cloud platforms.
Monitoring and Optimization: Utilize AWS monitoring tools like CloudWatch and CloudTrail to oversee our AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and cost efficiency.
Automation and DevOps: Leverage automation tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS CLI, Terraform, and Ansible to streamline deployments and management processes. Promote DevOps practices within the team to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert-level support for AWS infrastructure-related issues. Conduct thorough root cause analysis and resolve problems affecting our cloud infrastructure, network, and operating systems.
Documentation and Continuous Learning: Define, document, and ensure the accurate implementation of cloud system setups. Stay abreast of new AWS services and features, adopting a continuous learning approach to remain at the forefront of cloud technologies.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, demonstrating strong teamwork and communication skills to achieve project objectives and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
Experience in AWS 2-4 years
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud infrastructures.
Proficiency in deploying and configuring key AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, etc.).
Expertise in cloud security, including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks within AWS.
Strong background in monitoring, optimization, and cost management using AWS tools.
Solid experience with scripting languages (Python, Shell) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis within cloud environments.
Continuous learning mindset with the ability to adapt to the evolving landscape of AWS services.
Exceptional attention to detail in implementing cloud solutions, with a focus on security and performance best practices.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
